Kan Airlines Update 2021
As of February 2021, it looks like kan Air has suspended operations. This small airline has suffered due to the Covid 19 pandemic and time will see if this airline returns when better times return
Kan Air, owned by Kannithi Aviation Company Limited, and commenced operations on 24 September 2010, since then its domestic routes have been slowly expanding, Kan Air is a small airline with only four aircraft but cover some usual routes which other airlines do not cover. look at their route list below as flying some of these routes could save a load of time on long bus journeys! Prices are very reasonable too!
Their main operating base is from Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand however plans are afoot to increasing services from from Utapao Airport near Pattaya too. Some routes worthy of note are Is there Chiang Mai to Khon Kaen, Chiang Mai to Nan, Chiang Mai to Hua Hin and Chiang Mai to Pai flight (no other airlines operates this route!). There is even a flight from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai! although there will be not be a lot of time saved on this flight as this this route can be covered in relative comfort on a air conditioned VIP bus service in 2 and half hours with Green Bus Thailand.
